| | AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR - Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Three years recent experience (within the past five years) at the journeyman level. Eligible for a Provisional Level I Teaching Certification or above. ASE Certification in brake, steering and suspension, heating and air conditioning, manual transmission, and rear axle. Preference will be given for Standard Certification, Teaching Experience, and/or ASE Master Technician Certification. Responsibilities: Coordinate and deliver instruction to students enrolled in the Automotive Service Technology program. The instructor is responsible for all instruction, work-based learning, curriculum development, and the development of all hands-on skill development activities. Must be knowledgeable of all facets of the industry. Salary & Benefits: Salary: DEPENDENT UPON EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Ten month position Benefits: District paid health, life, retirement and more. |
